African Savannah Elephant
Size: The largest of the species, males can weigh up to 6,000 kg (13,200 lbs) and stand 3-4 meters (10-13 feet) tall.
Habitat: Found across the savannahs of sub-Saharan Africa.

African Forest Elephant
Size: Smaller than the savannah elephant, weighing up to 4,500 kg (9,900 lbs).
Habitat: Dense forests of Central and West Africa.
Physical Features:More rounded ears and straighter tusks.Adapted for moving through dense forests.
Asian Elephant
Size: Weighs up to 5,400 kg (11,900 lbs) and stands about 2.7 meters (9 feet) tall.
Habitat: Found in forests and grasslands in South and Southeast Asia.
Physical Features:Smaller, rounded ears compared to African species.Only males have large tusks, while females may have smaller ones or none at all.Smoother skin and more hair, especially on younger elephants.
Lifespan: Elephants can live up to 60-70 years in the wild.
Diet: Herbivores, consuming up to 300 pounds (136 kg) of plant matter per day, including grass, leaves, fruit, and bark.
